John BunyanGrace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners, or a Brief Relation of the Exceeding Mercy of God in Christ to his Poor Servant John Bunyan is a spiritual autobiography by English writer and Puritan preacher John Bunyan. First published in 1666, Bunyan wrote the book whilst serving a twelve-year prison sentence in Bedford Gaol for preaching without a license. The book first describes his pre-conversion lifestyle and attitude towards the church and Christianity. It then goes on to his testimony of conversion and how he became a minister, as well as the many spiritual torments he suffered throughout his spiritual journey.
This book has 57,821 words, and was originally published in 1666. This edition was first published by The Religious Tract Society in 1905.
